White Chocolate Orange Cookies
Orange and chocolate are such a great combination. And the white chocolate chips in these cookies makes them taste great! (adapted from this recipe)
White Chocolate Orange Cookies
(Yields 3-4 dozen cookies)Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. orange zest (about 1/2 of an orange)
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/3-1 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt
- In a bowl, beat (with an electric/hand mixer) the butter, white sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy
- Beat in egg and orange zest
- Gradually add flour mixture. Beat until just incorporated
- Stir in white chocolate chips
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cookies are lightly browned
- Remove to a wire rack and allow to cool
